Free Green Living Workshops

Councilmember Paul Koretz has worked with the LADWP to set up FREE Green Living Workshops, presented by Sustainable Works in various locations in Los Angeles.

These workshops consist of three sessions:

Session 1: WATER
• Learn solutions to reduce your water bill, probably lower than most of your neighbors
• Take part in a “Water Walk” exercise
• Receive a FREE water saving shower head

Session 2: ENERGY
• Engage in a dynamic discussion on the latest climate change news and research
• Participate in a light bulb comparison experiment
• Take home the best bulb for FREE

• Explore the best smartphone apps for the environment
NCJW• Make your own cleaning supplies
• Be part of a Fair Trade chocolate tasting

The free Green Living Workshop in Melrose Village is from 7 8:30 p.m. on three consecutive Wednesdays: September. 14, 21 and 28 at the National Council of Jewish Women, 543 N. Fairfax Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90036. (This is on the southwest corner of Fairfax Ave. and Clinton St.)
