Fairfax Closure for TV Production Tomorrow, March 31st

A TV company will be producing scenes from a time traveling adventure comedy TV pilot — Future Man — for Hulu in the Fairfax area tomorrow, March 31st. It is directed by Seth Rogan, who frequents the area often and is well known to the community. He wants to feature Los Angeles prominently in the show.

Fairfax Ave. will be closed between Oakwood Ave. and Rosewood Ave. for some portion of the day and evening..

The production has the necessary permits from the city. The production will include scenes inside Canters Deli during the day and a spectacular special effects stunt outside. Stores and restaurants around Canters will be dressed as stores from the 1960s. The stunt will include a car flipping over after a laser blast.  They only plan on doing the effect once, and it should sound like a single aerial firework, probably after midnight.
