Next Wednesday — September 30th at 7 p.m. — the second of this season’s Melrose Action Neighborhood Watch Meeting At Your Corner comes to the corner of Waring Ave. and Poinsettia Pl.
The is the next in a series of events to bring neighbors and public safety officials together outside, literally on street corners, to discuss issues relating to crime and other matters in our neighborhood.
This is an opportunity to meet with representatives from LAPD Wilshire Division and other Los Angeles officials. Those scheduled to be there include the interim Senior Lead Officer Ray Moreno and other LAPD officials, L.A. City Attorney Neighborhood Prosecutor Nooshi Zahiri, and representatives from Council Member Paul Koretz’ office.
Come out to this Meeting At Your Corner to find out what is really going on in our area and to express your public safety concerns. Free coffee, water and snacks. And this event is also supported by the Melrose Business Improvement District (BID), so it really is an event for our neighborhood.
