L.A. Pride Christopher Street West Festival in West Hollywood this weekend.

A really big event is set for this weekend in West Hollywood — the annual L.A. Pride Christopher Street West Festival. A lot of great things will be going on there.LA Pride CSW 2015

Since this is close to Melrose Village, it may affect traffic hee, and it will definitely affect traffic in West Hollywood, where Christopher Street West related street closures start Thursday evening:
⊗ Thursday, June 11, from 7 p.m. through 10 a.m., Monday, June 15:
‍               San Vicente Blvd. will be closed between Melrose Ave. and Santa Monica Blvd.
⊗ Friday, June 12, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.:
‍               Santa Monica Blvd. will be closed between Doheney Dr. and La Cienega Blvd.
⊗ Sunday, June 14, the following closures will take place from 5 a.m. through 5 p.m.:
‍        — Santa Monica Blvd., from North Fairfax Ave., to North Dohney Dr.
‍        — North Crescent Heights Blvd. from West Romaine St. to Fountain Ave.
‍        — Norton Ave from Havenhurst Dr. to Laurel Ave.
‍        — Streets one block north and south of Santa Monica Blvd. between Fairfax Ave.
‍                  and North La Peer Dr.

West Hollywood’s free shuttle bus along Santa Monica Blvd. will be running at least every 15 minutes during the festival hours (Sunday- late afternoon and evening only), starting at La Brea Ave. See the West Hollywood shuttle bus for details on this service.

Also please note that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. will be using Plummer Park as a staging area. The Community Center at the park will be set up as a command center and there will be lots of Sheriff’s vehicles in the south parking lot.
