Melrose Village Restaurants featured in LA Weekly

A recent article the LA Weekly listed some of the great restaurants in Melrose Village, focusing on “five of Melrose Avenue’s best options for eating out after hours.”

Several of these are relatively recent additions to the eating choices we already have here, but there are also the ones we’ve known somewhat longer. These restaurants are listed below from west to east. (They are in a different order in the article.)

_Melrose Umbrella Company (Between Vista St. and Gardner St.)
_The Village Idiot (at Martel Ave.)
_Smoke.Oil.Salt. (near Poinsettia Pl.)
_L’Assiette (across from Melrose Elementary)
_Tatsu Ramen (just west of La Brea Ave.)Melrose_Village_Restaurants

Can’t we do something to make Melrose a more walkable street! Trees, benches, garbage containers… I love Village Idiot’s food, I will try the rest of the restaurants mentioned.
