According to the Larchmont Buzz website, the Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services will be paving Melrose Ave. between Las Palmas Ave. and Cahuenga Blvd. — just east of Melrose Village — tomorrow (3/22) and Sunday (3/23). Crews will be starting work at 6 am both days, and working into the afternoon as needed.
Not only will this affect travel along that section of Melrose Ave., it may also affect parallel streets (especially Beverly Blvd. and Willoughby Ave..) and crossings, at, for example, June St.
On Saturday, existing pavement material will be removed, so, although Melrose will be open from late Saturday afternoon to early Sunday morning, the road will be very rough.
