We have a film festival coming up this week right nearby Melrose Village. It’s the New Urbanism Film Festival at the ACME Theater, on La Brea Ave., just south of Beverly Blvd.
The New Urbanism Film Festival will look at urban planning with a broader audience. The presentations are intended to introduce and inspire conversations about making our cities a better place. The subjects of the screenings include architecture, bicycle advocacy, urban planning, public transit, inner-city gardens, etc.
The festival is being held starting Thursday, November 16th at The ACME Theater, 135 N. La Brea Ave. (½ south of Beverly Blvd.), 90036.
For complete information and to order tickets, see the Film Festival website.
