Hot New Restaurant to Open at Highland and Melrose

A high-profile new restaurant is planned to open early next year on Highland Avenue just north of Melrose, a few doors down from Susan Feniger’s Street.

According to Eater, famed vagabond chef Ludo Lefebvre is teaming up with Animal owners Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo to open a small, high-end restaurant at 716 N. Highland Avenue, in a small strip mall that formerly housed a Raffallo’s Pizza.  They are doing business as Trois Mec, which is French for “three guys.”

We especially like Eater’s description of the area:

With the Mozzas, Susan Feniger’s Street, and Hatfield’s just around the corner, look for this block to become LA’s new food mecca.

More food for us….
