Pita Go, Pita Come

In September we reported that neighborhood pita-falafel place Muma had closed after two years of operation.  It didn’t take long for the space to be filled by a new pita outfit called, appropriately enough, Pita Way.

One of our fearless correspondents took these photos yesterday (before the drenching rains arrived).  It looks like Pita Way will be opening imminently.

There is a restaurant of the same name on Pico Boulevard, near Robertson, but we’re not sure if they are related.

  1. M says:

It is same owner. He also used to run Wholesome Pita on LaBrea/Melrose before losing the lease to the tea place (which later closed down).
