The house was designed by famed architect William Kesling for 1930s movie star Wallace Beery.  It is considered a premiere example of the Streamline Moderne style.

It’s at 947 N. Martel Avenue, between Willoughby and Romaine.  The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in 1,404 square feet, on a 7,000 square foot lot.  The asking price was just reduced to $999,000.
