We reported previously that much-loved Albano’s Brooklyn Pizzeria had opened in its old location on Melrose Avenue, between Poinsettia and Alta Vista.
But we just received this e-mail from neighborhood resident Amanda:
Any news on why Albano’s Pizza is closed again? For the past week they’ve been closed and now their number is disconnected. My husband and I are quite sad as we would get a slice before visiting Neveux.
Does anyone have info?
I was overjoyed to see them back, and had gone in several times since late August to get a pie. Then last Sunday evening around 6 PM, my daughter and I walked down to Albano’s to have dinner, and they were closed. I noticed all this week that they had remained closed.
Is this the final end of Albano’s???
