A new Food Network TV show called “Monster Kitchen” premieres tomorrow (Tuesday, July 19) at 9:00 pm. The show is so new that it’s not even listed yet on the Food Network web site.
One of our local chefs, Eric Greenspan of The Foundry on Melrose, appears on the first episode. According to TV Guide, “Hosts Eric Greenspan and Michael Fiorelli make huge donuts in the premiere of this series, which finds the rival chefs competing to create the most imaginative culinary treats.”
To celebrate the show, The Foundry on Melrose is hosting a special dinner and viewing party tomorrow, starting at 7:00 pm. There will be a four course “tasting in tandem” menu with dueling dishes from both of the featured chefs. After the episode airs, there will be a Q&A with the chefs.
Reservations are required; info here.
But will there be donuts?
