May 3. Our next Melrose Action Neighborhood Watch meeting will take place Tuesday, May 3, at 7:30 pm, in Blu Jam Cafe, 7371 Melrose Avenue. This is your opportunity to speak in person with LAPD Senior Lead Officer Art Gallegos. It’s also a chance to meet other like-minded community advocates who are working hard to make Melrose Village a great place to live, work, and do business.
August 2. Our big National Night Out event will take place Tuesday, August 2, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in Poinsettia Recreation Center. This will be the fourth year we have done a National Night Out, and it should be the best one yet. There will be free food and soft drinks, music, community booths, and a chance to meet your elected officials.
