The restaurants keep coming to the neighborhood.
The latest to open is The Fat Dog, a gastropub that is the offshoot of a well-known Montrose (Glendale) restaurant. It has opened in the new 801 N. Fairfax building (northwest corner of Fairfax and Waring), which is also home to butcher shop Lindy & Grundy, gym Sweat Garage, and the Coffee Commissary.
So, the people who live in that building have a coffee place, a butcher, a gastropub, and a gym – all right downstairs. Now that’s what we call a full-service building.
