Our neighborhood council, Mid City West Community Council, is our liaison with City government. Mid City West will be holding its board meeting tonight at 7:00 pm, at the NCJW building, 543 N. Fairfax Avenue (one block south of Melrose Avenue, lot parking with entrance from the alley west of Fairfax).
Anyone from the neighborhood is welcome to give a “Public Comment” of up to three minutes about any issue of concern to them. Public Comments are given at the beginning of the meeting, so you do not have to stay for the entire meeting (though you are welcome to stay). To give a comment, simply fill out a Public Comment form, and hand it to one of the people at the head of the table.
It can be difficult to get through to the right people in our very big and very sprawling City of Los Angeles. Mid City West helps you do just that.
