Our neighborhood has a whole restaurant devoted to the street foods of the world, Susan Feniger’s Street on Highland Avenue, just north of Melrose.
Now local Italian favorite Angeli Caffe has gotten into the mix with its occasional “Street Food Mondays.” The next one will be this coming Monday, when Angeli chef Evan Kleiman and food blogger Bill Esparza are joined by the cooks of one of the city’s most loved food trucks, Antojitos de la Abuelita.
The festivities begin at 6:00 pm. No reservations are being taken, and only cash is accepted.
